A Man Cave Turned Nursery
When Kevin Morgan and his wife found out they were having another baby a few years back, they were elated; Kevin was told he couldn’t have children after an accident that left him temporarily paralyzed.
So with the wonderful news of another baby on the way, it was time for Kevin to move his "man cave" from the guest bedroom to the basement to open space for a nursery.

The rowhome in the Parkwood neighborhood of North Philadelphia was decked out with all different sports memorabilia, ranging from autographed balls, bats, and banners, to chairs from stadiums like the Vet and the Spectrum.
There was only one issue with moving the memorabilia-laden man cave to the basement: there had always been challenges with heating and cooling in that area of the house.
Kevin liked to keep the indoor temperatures nice and cool during the summer -- a wish he knew wouldn't be able to fulfill in the basement with the AC system that was in place. And, Kevin definitely couldn't have his carefully curated collection moved to a spot where the Eagles posters would peel off the wall.
That's where we came in!
After our specialists at ECI met with him to discuss his heating and cooling options, Kevin decided that a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump unit would be the perfect solution.

Plus, with its zoned control, Kevin could keep the temperature in the basement completely separate from the rest of the house. So, when his buddies come over to watch a big game or if he wants to watch a movie with his children, the unit can be set to the exact temperature he wants.
