THE PROBLEM: An approximately 18-year-old high-velocity HVAC system was ready for replacement. The customer wanted to explore ways to manage heating costs while reducing reliance on the home’s existing natural gas boiler.
THE SOLUTION: Replace the aging equipment with a heat pump compatible with the home’s high-velocity setup, reuse much of the existing ductwork, and add supply outlets to meet airflow requirements. Keeping the boiler provided a second heating option for colder weather and backup support.
