Mitsubishi Ductless Mini-Splits: The Perfect Comfort Solution
After an initial consultation, we explored various HVAC options, from traditional ducted systems to mini-splits. Ultimately, Joe and Sandy chose Mitsubishi Ductless Mini-Splits, thanks to their zoned control, supplemental heating, and the flexibility to split the system into two separate zones.
The left side of the house now features mini-splits in the lower-level living room and upper-level dining area, while the right side houses units in both offices and the two bedrooms. Installation Process
Before installation began, our comfort specialist Joe met with our Install Manager Steve for a pre-installation walkthrough in the Langhorne home. This allowed us to review the project, design a plan, and finalize details like unit locations and installation timelines.
Together, we decided on six indoor unit locations and two outdoor unit locations. Steve suggested using a low-wall mount unit in the lower-level living room for better aesthetics—an idea Joe and Sandy loved.
The installation, completed in just four days, was carefully coordinated to ensure Joe and Sandy could continue working from home during the process. We started by installing the two-zone system on the left side of the house, including the high-wall unit in the dining area and the low-wall unit in the living room. Then, we installed units in both offices, followed by the two upper-level bedrooms.
