THE PROBLEM: After nearly 35 years of living with one of their bedroom's that was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, the homeowners needed a better solution as their family continued to grow. Because the bedroom was located far from the central HVAC system in a multi-level split-level home, it did not receive enough airflow to remain consistently comfortable.
THE PROBLEM: An aging window air conditioner had failed, leaving the homeowners looking for a more permanent cooling solution. Their biggest concerns were noise and comfort, as the old window unit could be loud enough to interfere with conversations when family and friends were visiting.
THE PROBLEM: A growing family in Philadelphia, PA relied on permanent window air conditioners to cool their home. With a baby on the way, they wanted a quieter, cleaner, more efficient and more permanent home cooling solution.
THE SOLUTION: A four-zone Mitsubishi Electric ductless mini-split system gave the family independent temperature control throughout the home while eliminating the need for multiple window AC units
PROBLEM: Having recently moved into this home with no air conditioning, the homeowners were looking for an affordable way to cool the second floor's two bedrooms/600 square feet with no ductwork.
SOLUTION: Our technicians installed a Mitsubishi air handler in the attic with short ducted runs to outlets in the bedrooms and bathrooms. And, as a bonus, the system provides supplemental heating.
Problem: Our homeowner in Doylestown's master bedroom was always uncomfortably freezing in the winter and sweltering in the summer due to a single, ineffective HVAC vent.
PROBLEM: This homeowner lacked central air conditioning, leaving most of his living space uncomfortable during hot summers. Additionally, his reliance on radiator heat made winter heating inefficient and costly.
SOLUTION: We installed a Mitsubishi split system heat pump with two indoor air handlers, providing zoned heating and cooling for enhanced comfort and energy efficiency.
PROBLEM: A Levittown family was living without central air and relying solely on a pellet stove for heat, creating high costs, safety concerns, and year-round discomfort.
PROBLEM: Stephen's new home in Morrisville had a 30-year-old oil boiler and air handler were outdated, inefficient, and costly to operate. The poor ductwork struggled to distribute heat and cool air evenly, leaving parts of the home uncomfortable. Additionally, the oil tank took up valuable basement space, limiting its functionality.
SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a Lochinvar Noble NKC-199 combi boiler, replacing the bulky oil system with an efficient natural gas alternative. A Mitsubishi ducted air handler was added for the main living space, along with three Mitsubishi wall-mounted units for targeted comfort in the basement. This upgrade improved energy efficiency, optimized comfort throughout the home, and freed up basement space for other uses.
