If you are like 93% of customers, then you likely turn to online reviews before buying a product or service, and for good reason. Online reviews give power to the customers to tell their side of the buying story, which provides social proof to other potential customers. That's why at ECI, we take pride an implementing a 5-Star Process.
The Importance of Customer Reviews
Of course a brand is going to rave about its own products and explain why they are the best, but this is obviously biased. In present, most of us can enjoy the simplicity of visiting a website to find what we need. A company’s website, like ours, is full of useful information -- from product descriptions to blog posts to examples of previous work.
And while website's are helpful, many may wonder: how can I really trust this company to do the job I need from them, and meet or exceed my expectations while doing so? That’s where reviews come in.
On one hand, a company website is informative, but it doesn't always translate to creating trust. Customers, on the other hand, give their honest opinions -- good and bad -- and these are what really influence most of us when making a purchasing decision. That's why we place a lot of importance on our customers' opinions.
Our reviews are honest: they are never paid for, never created by us, and we cannot stop customers from writing negative reviews. There is also no way ECI, as a business, can delete, hide, or alter Google reviews.
All review sites are important, however Google reviews have the most impact because people turn to Google more than any other search engine or review site. Either way, it's clear to us that in this “new age” of contractor trust, customer reviews are more important than ever.
How ECI Earns Reviews: Our 5-Star Process
So how exactly do we earn them?
ECI earns our honest 5-star reviews by facilitating a beginning-to-end process that is as smooth, helpful, educational, and pressure-free as possible.
Right when you call in and explain your interest in a new system or system upgrade, we provide as much information as we can through phone calls with our specialists and by sending links to our blog posts, videos, and previous projects.
From there, we provide free consultations through phone or video, or in your home -- whichever you prefer. During your free consultation, the specialist will provide you with even more detailed information and guide/educate you on the best options that are always tailored to your specific needs. Our consultations and recommendations are honest and no-pressure -- we won’t pressure you to make a decision, because we only want to help educate you.
If you decide to set an installation date with us, our effort to create a top-tier experience doesn’t stop there. Before your installation, the specialist and our Install Manager facilitate a pre-install walkthrough with you where they confirm all plans, make sure everything lines up, and go back over your aesthetic preferences and anything else you may need.
The installation process itself is just as smooth. The Install Supervisor and/or specialist explains everything to the crew in detail and gets one more confirmation of the install plan. At this point, you are also reminded to reach out to ECI if anything is not “5-star worthy” so that it can be fixed immediately.
Following the install, the specialist that helped you through the process will touch base with you to ensure the installation was successful, the work was 5-star worthy, and to answer any questions you may have.
This brings us to our customer reviews. From start to finish, we want our customers to have a flawless experience, and we hope this translates into how they talk about our company. And, in the off chance that something doesn’t go perfectly, that feedback is just as important so that we can respond and adapt going forward.
When you do receive a 5-star experience from us, we hope you leave a review; that way others can choose to come to us in a time of need, so that we can help them like we helped you!
Google reviews are important because they can help you weed out the not-so-good contractors. A company may tell you that they are the “best” or the “cheapest,” but what their customers say about them is what counts in the end.
