PROBLEM: These homeowners were looking for a better solution for their home than lugging window air conditioners up to the third floor of their University City home. They wanted a whole-home solution that would keep them cool and run more efficiently than window units.

PROBLEM: The 20-year-old air conditioner in a Queen Village rowhome needed replacement. Our homeowners wanted to upgrade their high velocity system.

PROBLEM: A property manager in Glenside, Pa., was in the process of rehabilitating an older home. One of his primary goals was to add air conditioning, but the absence of ductwork presented a significant challenge. Installing traditional ductwork would have been costly and would have compromised the aesthetics of the home.

PROBLEM: Our homeowner, Alex, recently purchased this charming new Chestnut Hill home. It needed some updating, which was to be done while maintaining its historic value. Problem: New homeowners in Rydal, PA, faced the challenge of combating the intense Summer heat and humidity in their historic colonial home, built in 1825. The lack of an existing cooling system and ductwork made it difficult to maintain a comfortable indoor environment.

PROBLEM: Our customer struggled with a noisy and inconsistent Unico High-Velocity system for years, making her home in Merion Station uncomfortable despite multiple attempts by different contractors to fix it.

SOLUTION: Upon a recommendation, Lan called ECI. We identified and corrected an installation error, transforming her system into a quiet and efficient source of comfort.

PROBLEM: Our long-time customer was ready to replace his high-velocity air conditioning system that we installed 20 years ago. The AC still worked, but it did not provide the efficiency, zoning, and quiet comfort that he was looking for.

SOLUTION: ECI installed a zoned high-velocity system with an inverter Bosch heat pump. The new system will provide both heating and cooling to three different zones throughout the home, ensuring even temperature control and energy savings. The quieter heat pump will not only enhance comfort but also contribute to significant oil savings for our customer.

PROBLEM: These homeowners had a Unico High Velocity system to heat and cool their home, but the evaporator coil had developed a leak causing the system to break down. It was old and out of warranty, so they needed to decide whether it was time to replace the system or undergo a costly repair.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort added a new Unico high-velocity air handler with Unico's 15-year warranty, giving the owner's peace of mind and reliability for years to come. 

PROBLEM: Upon moving into their new office in one of Yardley's historic buildings, Milestone Behavioral Health encountered problems with their air conditioning system. The existing high-velocity system was installed improperly, with several shortcuts leading to uneven airflow and overall discomfort.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort expertly installed two high-velocity systems. This involved upgrading the trunk from seven inches to nine inches, adding 10 outlets, and adding insulation. As a result, the system now operates quietly, provides even cooling, and significantly improves dehumidification throughout the entire building.

PROBLEM: Our customer's Dutch Colonial-style home lacked air conditioning, but the structure made it difficult to find a whole-home cooling option.

SOLUTION: ECI installed a small-duct, high-velocity heating and air conditioning system to provide efficient cooling without major renovations. We also added a smart thermostat system for greater comfort control, as well as an air purifier to increase indoor air quality.
