Ductless AC Cools South Philly Trinity While Preserving Artwork

PROBLEM: A historic trinity home near the Italian Market was always too warm in the summer with no ductwork for central air. 

SOLUTION: ECI Installed a Mitsubishi ductless mini-split system with three indoor air handlers. We mounted the outdoor heat pump along the second floor to preserve artwork near the sidewalk.

Indoor Air Quality Package Solves Allergy Issues in Philadelphia Home

PROBLEM: These homeowners struggled with bad allergies and asthma due to dry and dusty air from their forced hot air furnace. This lead them to installing an expensive boiler and radiant floor system to avoid using the furnace, which then stopped working. 

SOLUTION: After an initial sale of a new boiler to try and fix the radiator heat issue, ECI changed course to implement an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) package to the existing and functioning ducted furnace.

Ductless Install at Fairmount Rowhome for the Knipe Family

PROBLEM: The Knipes were looking to get rid of the window AC units in their Fairmount rowhome, but did not want to retrofit the home with bulky ductwork.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a Mitsubishi Ductless Mini-Split downstairs, and a Mitsubishi Ducted unit upstairs to keep the whole house evenly cooled.

PROBLEM: The Bennetts historic New Hope home didn't have ductwork, a basement, or an attic. They did not want to give up space in the house to add ductwork and also didn't want to drastically alter the home's look.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a multi-zone Mitsubishi Ductless Mini-Split system in the home. The Bennetts went with different setups for each room of the home to fit their heating and cooling needs and aesthetic concerns perfectly.

PROBLEM: These homeowners did not want to go through another summer using window and wall AC units. But they also did not want to disrupt the elegance of their beautiful 1915 Trinity home with mini-splits. Moreover, they did not want to give up precious space to install ductwork.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a high velocity system for cooling the entire home, and a heat pump to provide warmth during the milder seasons. Brad and Jared were able to get comfortable cooling and heating without paying astronomical bills or altering the home's aesthetic.

South Philly Rowhome Beats the Heat with Mitsubishi Ductless AC

PROBLEM: This homeowner was tired of the summer heat taking over her home, but it was too much of a pain to continuously install window AC units every year. Not only was the installation process burdensome, but the inefficiency and "window-rattling" were becoming too much of a nuisance. Time for an upgrade!

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a Mitsubishi Ductless Mini-Split system. This system doesn't require ductwork to add both air conditioning and supplemental heat, so it's a great way to solve heating and cooling problems in older homes that lack the extra space for ductwork. For South Philly rowhomes, ductless AC is the perfect match.
