PROBLEM:  Our homeowner, David, has a charming stone home built in the early 1700s. The home was built in three phases and was equipped with cast iron radiators for heat with no cooling system. David needed options that would efficiently heat and cool his home without disturbing the clean aesthetic of the property.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a four-zone Mitsubishi Ductless system.  This four-zone system provides heating and cooling to the main spaces of the home without disrupting the homes functionality. With the home being constructed in different stages, finding spaces for the splits and the heat pump proved to be tricky. But with help from our lead installer, Matt, and coordination with the homeowner, our team found the perfect options and placements. For older homes with limited space, ductless AC is the perfect match.

PROBLEM: Our homeowners needed a way to cool their historic Trinity home in Elfreth's Alley. They did not want to take up valuable space, and wanted to maintain the architectural and historical integrity of the home.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed Mitsubishi ductless mini-splits. These heat pump provide efficient cooling (and heating!) without taking up room with bulky ductwork.

PROBLEM: An pre-war rowhome in the Old City section of Philadelphia didn’t have room for a conventional central air conditioner, and window units were too loud, bulky, and expensive to run.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed two ducted mini-splits to cool the house. These use less energy and are quieter than central air or window units. Plus, they take up less room than traditional ductwork systems.

PROBLEM: Our homeowner, Curt, has an amazing at-home gym. While it features all the equipment one could need, it is located above the garage in a space that was built without heating or cooling. About 10 years ago, he had a Sanyo Ductless Split installed, which he loved. After many years of great use, it saw its last day. Curt needed to replace the unit to keep his gym warm in the winter and cool in the summer. 

PROBLEM: Our Bensalem, PA homeowners, Eileen and Tom, have spent far too long living without central air conditioning. In their beautiful home, an oil boiler with baseboard radiators keeps them warm in the colder climate, but window AC units have become rattling nightmares. Time for a comfort change!

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a three-zone system, with two SEZ horizontal ducted units, paired with a high-wall mounted ductless unit. This combination provides air conditioning to the second and first floor, as well as a supplemental heat source to keep down energy costs in the colder months! 

PROBLEM: Owners of a Doylestown, Pa. cabin were paying too much for electric radiant heat and were using window units for AC every summer.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a zoned Mitsubishi Ductless Split Heat Pump Inverter system.

PROBLEM: A historic trinity home near the Italian Market was always too warm in the summer with no ductwork for central air. 

SOLUTION: ECI Installed a Mitsubishi ductless mini-split system with three indoor air handlers. We mounted the outdoor heat pump along the second floor to preserve artwork near the sidewalk.

PROBLEM: The Bennetts historic New Hope home didn't have ductwork, a basement, or an attic. They did not want to give up space in the house to add ductwork and also didn't want to drastically alter the home's look.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a multi-zone Mitsubishi Ductless Mini-Split system in the home. The Bennetts went with different setups for each room of the home to fit their heating and cooling needs and aesthetic concerns perfectly.

PROBLEM: This home in Jenkintown, Pa. was experiencing issues heating and cooling an area on the third floor. The home had existing gas-fired boiler and cast iron radiator heat and the first floor was previously supplemented with a Mitsubishi ductless heating and cooling system, installed by ECI Comfort.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a single-zone Mitsubishi ductless system on the third floor. This room does not heat up or cool as well as the rest of the house, so this ductless unit will provide the perfect solution to create comfort.

PROBLEM: This large home in Moorestown, New Jersey was in need of a brand new heating and cooling solution. 

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed three Unico High Velocity systems, Lennox condensers, a Lochinvar high efficiency boiler, and Mitsubishi ductless split.
