Moorestown, NJ Homeowners Make the Switch from Window ACs to Unico High Velocity

PROBLEM: Our customers in Moorestown, New Jersey were looking to install central air in their beautiful older home and get rid of their window air conditioner units. They were also looking to address hot and cold spots that they experienced with their existing steam boiler radiator system.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed two Unico High Velocity central air systems paired with two outdoor Bosch Inverter Heat Pumps. These systems will provide comfortable, quiet air conditioning along with backup heat to supplement their existing boiler system.

Throwback Thursday: 17th Century Stone Farmhouse Upgrades Their Air Conditioning System

PROBLEM: Our homeowner was desperately searching for a new functional option for his 17th-century stone farmhouse that could eliminate the use of his old radiator and window units.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort was able to install a Mitsubishi Electric ductless system to enhance the comfort in his home. This system does not require alterations to the home and is minimally invasive, which helped maintain the historic stone home. ECI specializes in installing ductless systems in older stone homes.

Throwback Thursday: Mini-Split Replaces Window AC Units in Old City, Philadelphia

PROBLEM: A few years ago, our homeowners were experiencing uncomfortable summers in their Old City rowhome built in the 1920s. Using heavy and noisy air conditioning units, they never truly felt complete comfort during the summer months, and feared they were out of options due to the structure of their rowhome. 

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed a mini-split system with zoning control so our homeowners could have desired temperatures throughout their home all year round. This option eliminates the need for additional ductwork that can minimize necessary space in their rowhome.

Levittown Homeowners Say Hello to Home Comfort With Ductless Heat Pump Upgrade

PROBLEM: Our homeowner wasn’t satisfied with the quotes he was getting from other companies in the area when it came to adding upgrading his heating and cooling system in his Levittown home. Other companies suggested ductwork, which he was not interested in adding to his home. He reached out to ECI for one last quote after a trustworthy friend referred us to him.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort was able to install a brand-new system without the use of ductwork. Ductless was the best option for his Levittown home because of its zoning abilities. Three indoor units and an outdoor heat pump were installed and even helped Jason cut back on his oil usage. Our homeowner also took advantage of financing through Synchrony so he could enjoy home comfort right away without major money out of his pocket!

South Philly Rowhome Finally Gets a Permanent AC Solution

PROBLEM:  New homeowners, Ted and Carrie, reached out to ECI during their settlement process on an old Philadelphia rowhome. The rowhome was equipped with cast-iron radiators for heat and window units for AC. Ted and Carrie were looking for a more permanent solution for their new home. Concerned about space and noise, they reached out to ECI about ductless mini-splits.

SOLUTION:
ECI Comfort installed a four-zone Mitsubishi Ductless system.  This multi-zone system was installed across three stories and provides both heating and cooling. This provided a permanent solution for their forever home and eliminated the need for those noisy window units. Since these Mitsubishi mini-splits require no ductwork, our homeowners can save on valuable space and get the most out of their new home. They also feature whisper-quiet technology.

1700s Stone Farmhouse Gets AC Upgrade It Always Needed

PROBLEM:  Our homeowner, David, has a charming stone home built in the early 1700s. The home was built in three phases and was equipped with cast iron radiators for heat with no cooling system. David needed options that would efficiently heat and cool his home without disturbing the clean aesthetic of the property.

SOLUTION:
ECI Comfort installed a four-zone Mitsubishi Ductless system.  This four-zone system provides heating and cooling to the main spaces of the home without disrupting the homes functionality. With the home being constructed in different stages, finding spaces for the splits and the heat pump proved to be tricky. But with help from our lead installer, Matt, and coordination with the homeowner, our team found the perfect options and placements. For older homes with limited space, ductless AC is the perfect match.

Bristol Borough Home and Salon Gets Ductless T.L.C.

PROBLEM: This home/salon in Bristol Borough, Pa. needed to add air conditioning to the sunroom in the front of the house, as it was going to become a bedroom.  

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort extended the home's already existing ductless system by adding another air handler in the sunroom/front bedroom. Ductless units are a great way to efficiently and cost- effectively cool small spaces.

Mini split replaces window air conditioners: Old City rowhome

PROBLEM: An pre-war rowhome in the Old City section of Philadelphia didn’t have room for a conventional central air conditioner, and window units were too loud, bulky, and expensive to run.

SOLUTION: ECI Comfort installed two ducted mini-splits to cool the house. These use less energy and are quieter than central air or window units. Plus, they take up less room than traditional ductwork systems.
