6 Common Myths About Heat Pumps

The Inflation Reduction Act has started to persuade more homeowners to consider switching over to a heat pump due to the available tax credits and rebates. With these rebates and tax credits, homeowners can potentially earn back some the money they put forward for a heat pump within the year. The end goal of the Inflation Reduction Act is to reduce household emissions and reach net zero by 2050. This means that 23 million homes currently heated by gas or oil will need to move to a low-carbon alternative, such as a heat pump.

$3.37 Billion in LIHEAP Funding Released to States by The US Dept of Health & Human Services

As of November 1, 2021, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has released $3.37 billion in LIHEAP Funding to states. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, helps families living on low incomes by paying their heating bills in the form of a cash grant.

ECI and the Filipino-American Association of Bucks County


You may have not heard, but on Friday, November 8th, there was a devastating storm, called Typhoon Haian (or Yolanda) in northern Cebu, Philippines. Although the absolute is unknown, it is known that over 10,000 people perished and over 600,000 people lost their homes. These people have been completely displaced and are in great need of food, water and medical attention.
